Rooted in the running expertise New Balance has refined since 1906, the 906 SR is a lightweight work shoe with the look and feel of a sneaker, made for professionals facing long shifts on hard floors. It is occupational footwear certified to EN ISO 20347, built around slip resistance, comfort and fit rather than toe protection, well suited to demanding service environments.

Occupational certification

The 906 SR is certified to EN ISO 20347 in protection class OB with additional properties E HRO SRC. That means energy absorption in the heel region (E), an outsole resistant to heat by contact up to 300°C (HRO), and the highest slip-resistance rating (SRC). As occupational footwear, it does not include a protective toe cap or penetration-resistant insert, the focus is grip and comfort.

Grip & comfort

A rubber outsole gives confident traction on wet, greasy and smooth surfaces, while the sneaker construction keeps the shoe light and flexible over a full day of standing. The Hyposkin upper offers a clean, supportive feel, and lace fastening lets you tailor the fit.
