New Balance Elite Lite Men's Safety Shoe S1PL - Grey/White

The New Balance Elite Lite Men's Safety Shoe S1PL brings the brand's athletic-footwear heritage, built on running-shoe design since 1906, into the light industrial workplace. Certified to EN ISO 20345 in class S1PL, it pairs a lightweight, low-profile silhouette with genuine protective performance, making it a practical choice for finishing work and long shifts where comfort and mobility matter as much as safety.

Protection and certification

The S1PL rating covers a closed heel region, antistatic properties (A), heel-zone energy absorption (E), and a fuel- and oil-resistant outsole (FO). The PL designation confirms a textile, non-metallic anti-penetration insert. Additional coding includes HRO (outsole resistant to contact heat up to 300°C), SC (abrasion-resistant scuff cap over the toe), SR (slip resistance), and ESD for controlled dissipation of static charge.

Comfort and construction

A lightweight, non-metallic composite toe cap delivers impact protection without added weight, while the suede and textile upper balances durability with breathability. New Balance ACTEVA midsole technology and the NB PU comfort insert provide cushioning, support and flexibility across the working day.
