Protection and certification

The S1PL rating covers a closed heel region, antistatic properties (A), heel-zone energy absorption (E), and a fuel- and oil-resistant outsole (FO). The PL designation confirms a textile, non-metallic anti-penetration insert. Additional coding includes HRO (outsole resistant to contact heat up to 300°C), SC (abrasion-resistant scuff cap over the toe), SR (slip resistance), and ESD for controlled dissipation of static charge.

A lightweight, non-metallic composite toe cap delivers impact protection without added weight, while the suede and textile upper balances durability with breathability.
