New Balance Speedware Men's Safety Shoe S1P delivers the ultimate in lightweight comfort safety footwear for the active worker. Drawing on New Balance's running heritage as a performance brand since 1906, Speedware translates that athletic DNA into occupational footwear that feels more like a trainer than a work shoe. Certified to EN ISO 20345 at protection class S1P, it combines a fully enclosed heel area, antistatic properties, energy absorption and a fuel oil resistant outsole (FO) with a non-metallic penetration-resistant insert (P) for reassuring underfoot protection.

Speedware is engineered for those on their feet all day across an array of conditions, both indoor and outdoor. The ACTEVA performance midsole paired with the NB Comfort Insert creates the ideal mix of support, cushioning and flexibility, while the anatomically shaped cushioning insole keeps every step comfortable through long shifts.

Grip and lightweight protection

The AT TREAD pattern outsole provides the highest level of slip resistance, backed by an SRC rating. A composite (non-metallic) toe cap keeps the shoe light and airport friendly, and the wide 2E fit suits broader feet.
